Living Room
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I was selected by MIAD’s Innovation Center and the Living Room’s Senior Executive Director of Mission, Vision, and Values to design a logo that embodies the space’s core themes of affirmation, belonging, and connection.
Working closely with Erin “Fig” Frazier, we explored a variety of design directions—from emblem concepts to the final wordmark. This project challenged my creativity and strengthened my ability to collaborate in a group setting, particularly as much of our process took place remotely through scheduled meetings and shared feedback sessions.
The final logo evolved into a living identity through the addition of animation, bringing motion and energy to the spirit of the Living Room.

Process
When I volunteered at the Milwaukee Art Museum, there were quiet moments where I’d sketch ideas on Post-it notes or in my phone’s Notes app. The first image came from inspiration I found while out with friends—I noticed a guy wearing a really cool letterman-style jacket, asked if I could take a photo, and he said yes. After that, we went right back to enjoying the night
LAST ROUND LOGO REVISIONS - COLOR
A look into my working files shows how I prepared for the final round of decisions. All that was left was for the client to choose which colors resonated most with the space and the people who would interact with it. The final files I delivered to the client included organized layers and clearly labeled artboards for easy review.
